Last night at the Escondido Partnership Municipal Gallery my sister and I saw their Recycled Fashion show. It was a wonderful show of clothing made from recycled materials made by artists who wanted to show how many different materials can be made into wearable clothing. Many of the pieces that walked down the runway were made from a verity items that one could find in their local dumpster. There was a variety of inspired designs such as Kaitlyn and Danielle Posenthall and Christina Burr: made “New Lives for Old Ties”, Isable Crouse: “Motor City Doll”, and one of my favorites Shaun Muscolo, who made a “Homage to Alexander McQueen” dress. Made from mylar electronics anti-static packaging. This was simply a beautiful dress with a matching crown. Julie and I really enjoyed this fashion and look forward to next year’s event.

One of the designers made hats for the show and this is a picture of one of her models, she is so cute.
This a great use of potato sacks made into a suit. Made by Nicola Griffin.
